- Full directory experience is live: contractor search with province/style/keyword filters, contractor profiles, a six-family style guide with cost tables, and a resources section with cost guides and hiring checklists.
- Fully bilingual — every page has a French mirror with hreflang tags. Few competitors bother; it doubles the addressable Canadian searches.
- Multi-contractor quote form sends one submission to up to five matched contractors via Formspree.
- Contractor data is client-rendered from js/data.js — currently sample entries.

Real contractors, province by province leaning
The quote request is the product. Onboard actual contractors and route real homeowner leads to them — this is the most commercially obvious build in the portfolio.
Content-only play
Let the guides earn search traffic and monetize with ads/affiliates. Lower ceiling, near-zero effort.

- Recruit the first real contractors (start with one or two provinces)
- Replace sample entries in js/data.js with onboarded contractors
- Route quote submissions to contractors and track delivery
- Decide the monetization model: per-lead fee, listing fee, or free-to-prove-value first
- Publish province-level cost/style content to deepen local SEO
