- The news-desk experience is live: market stories scored for revenue impact and anticipated move, with lookback (how past stories moved that stock) and similar-story evidence, plus smart filters by story type, impact and direction.
- A Story Screener is built: arm a topic, get pinged on revenue-impacting hits.
- Netlify functions for real-news ingestion exist (Marketaux, Finnhub, Yahoo Finance endpoints) — the pipeline is built, the live feeds need switching on.

Feeds on, then the Screener as the product leaning
Turn on live ingestion, then the Screener — arm a topic, get pinged — becomes the thing worth paying for.
Daily digest first
A 'what moved and why' email is the cheapest way to find out if anyone cares. Compatible precursor to the Screener.
Requirements to update
The working checklist for the leaning path. Completed items move to the progress log below with the date they landed.
- Provision API keys and enable the ingestion functions on a schedule
- Verify scoring quality on live data for a week before promoting it
- Add email capture for the daily digest
- Ship the digest to the first subscribers manually if needed
- Wire Screener alerts to email once digests prove engagement
